Train Chatbot with YouTube Videos

Overview #

Training your chatbot with YouTube videos allows it to learn from the video content. To do this, you can provide the YouTube video URL, and the chatbot will use the video to improve its responses. Follow the steps below to add YouTube videos for training.

Step 1: Access the YouTube Videos Page #

  1. From the dashboard, click on the Train option in the navigation bar.
  2. You will be directed to the Train page, where you can select the YouTube Videos option to begin adding YouTube videos for chatbot training.

Step 2: Add YouTube Video URL #

  1. On the YouTube Videos page, you will see a single input field where you can enter the YouTube Video URL.
  2. Paste the URL of the YouTube video you wish to use for training the chatbot.
  3. After entering the URL, click the Save button to start the training process.For example:

Note: Ensure that the URL you provide is a valid YouTube video link. The chatbot will process the video content to improve its responses.

Step 3: YouTube Video Training Status #

After adding the YouTube video URL, it will appear in the list of videos along with the following status indicators:

The possible statuses include:

  • Preparing: The video is being processed for training, including extracting key information from the video.
  • Training: The video is actively being processed, and the chatbot is learning from the content.
  • Trained: The video has been successfully processed, and the chatbot is ready to use the information from the video for responses.
  • Failed: There was an issue during the training process. You can check the error message for more details.

Step 4: Delete YouTube Video #

If you want to remove a video, click on the Delete button next to the video you want to remove. A confirmation dialog will appear asking if you’re sure you want to delete the video.

Note: Once a video is deleted, it cannot be recovered, and the training data associated with it will be removed.
