Train Chatbot with a Webpage

Overview #

Training your chatbot with a webpage helps improve its understanding of specific topics, making it capable of answering related queries more accurately. This section guides you through the process of training your chatbot using a webpage.

Access the Webpage Training Section #

  1. Navigate to the Train section in the dashboard by selecting the Train option from the navigation bar.
  2. On the Train page, choose the Webpage option to proceed to the Webpage training page.

Add Webpage #

In the Webpage page, you’ll find an input field where you can enter the URL of the webpage you want to use for training your chatbot. Once you’ve added the URL, click on the Save button to start processing the webpage content.

Monitor Status #

After saving the webpage URL, it will appear in the list of available pages along with its title. Each webpage will display a status indicator showing its progress.

Here are the possible status indicators:

  • Preparing: The webpage content is being processed and prepared for training.
  • Training: The chatbot is actively training with the webpage content. This step may take a while, depending on the webpage’s size.
  • Trained: The chatbot has successfully trained with the webpage content and is now capable of answering related queries.
  • Failed: If an issue occurs during the training process, the status will change to Failed. You can click the Retry button to attempt the training again.

Delete Webpage #

To remove a webpage from the list, click the Delete button next to the webpage title. A confirmation dialog will appear. Click Delete to confirm and remove the webpage from the list.
