Overview #
Training your chatbot with text-based content is an effective way to enhance its ability to understand and respond to customer queries. Follow the steps below to train your chatbot using plain text.
Step 1: Access the Train Page #
- From the dashboard, click on the
Train
option in the navigation bar. - You will be directed to the Train page, where you can choose the Text option for text-based training.
Step 2: Add Text #
- On the Text page, you’ll find a text area where you can input your content. Additionally, there’s a field to provide a title for your text.
- After writing your desired text, assign it a title and click the Save button to begin training.For example:

- Title:
Greeting
- Text:
Step 3: Text Status Indicators #
Once you save the text, it will appear in the list of available texts. Each text will have a status indicator that tracks its progress:
Here are the possible statuses:
- Preparing: The text is being processed and scanned for issues before the training begins.
- Training: The text is actively being processed by the chatbot for training purposes.
- Trained: The text has been successfully trained, and the chatbot is ready to respond based on this content.
- Failed: There was an issue with training the text. You can check the error message for more details.
Step 4: Delete Text #
If you need to delete a text, click the Delete button next to the text you wish to remove. A confirmation dialog will appear, asking you to confirm the deletion.
Note: Once a text is deleted, it cannot be recovered, and all associated training data will be removed. Ensure you want to permanently delete the text before confirming the action.
