Slack Integration Guide

ChatFlow provides a seamless way to integrate your chatbot with Slack, allowing you to send connection data directly to your Slack workspace. Once integrated, you’ll be immediately notified of leads, feedback and support tickets through your chosen Slack channels.

Here’s how to set up the Slack integration in just a few simple steps:

Step 1: Access the Integrations Page

  1. Log into your ChatFlow dashboard
  2. Navigate to your chatbot’s settings
  3. Click on Connect at the top of the page
  4. Select the Integrations tab from the options

Step 2: Connect to Slack

  1. In the integrations grid, locate the Slack card
  2. Click the Connect button under the Slack integration
  3. You’ll be redirected to Slack’s authorization page


Step 3: Authorize ChatFlow

  1. On the Slack authorization page, review the permissions requested
  2. Select the Slack workspace where you want to add ChatFlow
  3. Choose the default channel where ChatFlow will post messages
  4. Click Allow to authorize the integration

Step 4: Start Using the Integration

Once authorized, ChatFlow will be connected to your Slack workspace. You can:

  1. Receive notifications in your selected default channel
  2. Invite ChatFlow to additional channels as needed
  3. Start receiving automated updates about your chatbot’s interactions


That’s it! Your ChatFlow chatbot is now integrated with Slack and will automatically send connection data to your specified channels.



Managing Your Integration
You can manage your Slack integration at any time:

  • Return to the Integrations page to check connection status
  • Use the Disconnect button to remove the integration

Note: The integration requires appropriate Slack workspace permissions. If you encounter any issues during setup, ensure you have the necessary administrative rights in your Slack workspace.
