How to Configure Display Settings for the Subscriber Widget #

The display settings panel lets you control when, where, and how often your push notification widget appears on your website. These settings help optimize user engagement and minimize disruption.

Page Trigger #

Use this setting to define which URLs will display the widget.

  • URL Condition: Choose how the rule is applied (e.g., “Contains”, “Equals”).
  • String: Specify the string to match in the URL.
  • Example: If you enter london, the widget will appear only on pages where the URL contains “london”.
  • Max Rules: You can define up to 3 URL conditions.

Use this to target location-specific pages or campaigns.

After Close Behavior #

This setting controls when the widget will reappear after a user has closed it.

  • Delay Type Options:
    • Time on site: Reshow after a set amount of seconds.
    • Pageviews: Reshow after a specific number of pageviews.
  • Example: If you select “Time on site” and set it to 30 seconds, the widget will reappear after 30 seconds of browsing.

This helps prevent overexposing users to the widget while still encouraging subscription.

Trigger Settings #

Define the user behavior that triggers the widget to display.

  • Exit Intent: Show the widget when a user moves their mouse toward the top of the browser (about to leave).
  • Sensitivity: No extra configuration is required for exit intent in this view.

Use this to capture users before they leave your site.

Display Rules #

Control how often and how long the widget is visible.

  • Display Frequency:
    • All the time: Show the widget every time the user is eligible.
    • Once per session: Show once per browser session.
    • Once per browser: Show once per browser lifetime.
  • Display Duration:
    • Unlimited: The widget remains until the user takes action.
    • Other options may include time limits or automatic hide.

Choose settings based on how persistent you want the call to action to be.

Final Step: Save Changes #

Once you’ve adjusted all display settings, click Save Changes to activate them.
