How to Set Targeting for Your Push Notification  #

Targeting settings allow you to control who sees your subscriber widget based on location, device, browser, and more. This ensures a tailored experience that improves engagement and conversion.

Step 1: Access the Targeting Settings #
  1. Navigate to the Push Notifications section from your left-side menu.
  2. Select Subscriber Widget.
  3. Click on the Targeting settings tab at the top.

This section is used to refine visibility of your push widget based on user context.

Step 2: Continent and Country Targeting #
  • Continent Targeting: Choose specific continents where you want your subscriber widget to be visible.
For example, target only users in North America or Europe.
  • Country Targeting: Further narrow down the audience by selecting individual countries.
This is helpful for region-specific offers or compliance reasons.
Step 3: OS Targeting #

Use OS Targeting to display the widget based on the visitor’s operating system:

  • Available options: Windows, OS X, Ubuntu, Chrome OS, iOS, Android
  • Example: Show a mobile-optimized notification opt-in only to iOS and Android users.
Step 4: Browser Targeting #

Choose which browsers should display the widget. You can select one or multiple:

  • Supported Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Opera
  • Example: If your widget doesn’t support Safari, deselect it here.
Step 5: Screen Targeting #

Decide which screen sizes should show the widget:

  • Mobile & Tablet (Small Screens): Screens smaller than 768px.
  • Desktop (Large Screens): Screens 768px and above.

Use this to deliver platform-appropriate designs, such as hiding complex widgets from mobile users.

Final Step: Save Changes #

After selecting your targeting preferences, click Save Changes in the top right to apply the settings. Your widget will now only appear to users who match your configured criteria.
