How to Configure Your Subscriber Widget in ChatFlow #
To use Push Notifications you will need to first enable this through your install settings and have installed the ChatFlow Javascript code on your website.
The Subscriber Widget allows you to collect user signups for push notifications directly from your website. This guide walks you through how to style and configure your widget for optimal engagement.
Step 1: Access the Subscriber Widget #
- In your ChatFlow dashboard, navigate to the Push Notifications section in the left-hand menu.
- Click on Subscriber Widget.
This section allows you to edit how your notification signup form appears to visitors.
Step 2: Style Your Widget #
Use the Style your widget tab to control the look and feel of the popup:
- Logo: Add your brand icon or logo to visually reinforce your identity.
- Accent Color: Select a color that matches your brand to highlight key elements.
- Title: This is the headline of the widget. Keep it short, clear, and benefit-driven (e.g., “Be first to get property updates!”).
- Description: Use this field to give users more context and reassurance (e.g., “No spam, unsubscribe at any time.”).
- Buttons: Customize the call-to-action buttons like “Sign-up!” or “No thanks!”
These fields let you design a signup prompt that is visually consistent with your brand and encourages higher opt-in rates.
Step 3: Configure Layout and Position #
Use the Layout and Position buttons to:
- Choose between horizontal or vertical layout options.
- Decide where on the page the widget should appear (e.g., bottom-left, center, etc.).
Strategically placing the widget ensures it’s visible but not disruptive.
Final Step: Enable the Widget #
Make sure the toggle in the top-right corner is switched to Enabled. This ensures the widget is live and visible to your website visitors.
